I personally tend to think “community” is one of the most abused words in the language, right after “security” and “confidence.” Pure propaganda. Being a small-towner, it always had a slight whiff of witch burning to it. And racism. On the other hand, having lived in the big city for quite a few years now, I can almost sympathize with all those who seem to think of it as a fading mirage. The disappearance of community in the rise of society. Or being slotted into pre-determined pseudo communities based on race, class, education, work, etc.
Anyway, fuck all that…I’m mostly just a loner. And a drifter.
